In her previous life, Song Shihuan was a princess (the crown prince’s legitimate daughter) who was left to fend for herself for ten years and, after finally returning home, was despised by the prince’s family and ultimately killed by her own half-sister. Given a second chance, she wakes up on the day she was first recognized by her family. This time, while the eastern palace tries to cast her away and erase the family’s stain, she coolly chooses the notorious playboy prince Qin Wang to be her father. Although Qin Wang is infamous for laziness and being the enemy of the crown prince, Shihuan believes he is worth teaching and raising. Under her guidance, the once-useless prince transforms from a slacker to a relentless competitor, eventually overturning the odds to become emperor.
