Crown Prince Carl suffers from a severe fever caused by a divine curse, and a prophecy foretells that he will bring ruin to the empire. As a result, he is sentenced to death. On the night before the execution, the empress risks her life to help her son escape the palace. Carl reaches the village of “Hills,” a place inhabited by healers, where he meets Ella — a kind healer who once saved him when he was a child in a cave. Six years later, Carl grows into a handsome young man. But to Ella, he is still like a younger brother, unaware that he is the missing crown prince of the Eastern Empire. Meanwhile, Carl harbors feelings for Ella that go far beyond simple friendship.
